How Do I Meet People?
Immanuel Baptist Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place to get involved in outreach and carrying the Gospel message of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community.
Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Living Hope.
Small Group
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, IBC has small Bible studies held in member homes. The size of the group is anywhere from six to twelve.
Children’s Ministry
Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn.
Our mantra is that each child will learn pray to boldly, read God’s Word boldly, and sing in worship boldly.
Each of the class teachers are carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction. The youth ministry of Immanuel Baptist Church is recognized for their close interaction.
Ladies Ministry
IBC’s Women’s Groups gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups, located in several locations throughout our community, are times of Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.
Men’s Accountability Group
Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. Accountability groups of three are formed among the men of CBC Accountability groups meet together as their schedules allow and keep in touch by email or phone.
